Our People

Julie O’Connell

Julie is a highly respected and experienced commercial and banking solicitor with expertise in secured lending and banking transactions as well as having extensive general commercial experience in a range of corporate transactions.

Julie has advised on a wide range of banking structures including complex financing and re-structuring transactions requiring specialist knowledge of banking and company law. Transactions have included financing of hotels, pharmacies, cinemas , primary care centres and a variety of commercial properties.

Julie has also extensively advised commercial clients in many different circumstances including acquisition of commercial properties, sale and purchase of business assets, share purchase transactions, partnership agreements and general ongoing advice in company law matters of all degrees of complexity.

Niall Black

Niall Black is an experienced solicitor qualified for in excess of thirty years. He has a detailed knowledge of residential property for all types of vendors and purchasers from the first-time buyer to the experienced investor, both personal and institutional.

He is also very familiar with commercial property both from a sale/purchase and lease basis.

Niall is widely experienced in probate and inheritance tax, advising clients on how best to dispose of their assets on death and also in administering estates both large and small.

Niall advises a number of family companies with significant turnover.

Niall is experienced in both family law and litigation.

Lauren Bolton

Lauren Bolton joined the firm in 2025 upon qualifying as a solicitor. Lauren graduated from Dublin City University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Politics and Law (EPL) and obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) in 2019.

She subsequently undertook further specialist training and obtained an Advanced Diploma in Data Protection Law from the King’s Inns in 2020.

Lauren completed her training in a busy general practice firm, gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of legal areas.

Lauren now advises on all aspects of Property Law, from residential purchases and sales to more complex commercial property and lending transactions.
